As we enter information era, the traditional document handling processes are cumbersome, slow, and not reliable. Taking the advantage of computer network and electronic mails, every organization or a user can setup a library for miscellaneous correspondences, letters, emails, documents, photographs, etc. In fact, we could organize our documents in such a way as if we construct a virtual library for people to archive and retrieve files or documents. We can forward electronic documents or refer other readers (if network is available) to the same documents with timely fashion and consistency.

This document management system (MDMS) has a user-friendly text-edit and graphics handling functions. It is able to take inputs from scanners (black-and-white or color), digital cameras, computer source files, and then archive them into a structure that is designed by users. It not only helps us to archive documents, but also creates a dynamic data sharing environment.
